TIMEKEEPER INFORMATION
Game Process
1. Home Coach/Manager is responsible for bringing their iPad to their home game and for loading the game on their home team iPad and giving it to the timekeeper. This requires wi-fi or tethered to a mobile phone, so the game can load. Do NOT create a new game, only load scheduled games. **Each team has an iPad, if there are issues with yours, please coordinate with the team you are playing against and let me know ASAP**
2. Timekeeper will take the iPad to each team’s coaches for them to update and sign off on their roster.
3. Timekeeper will keep the gamesheet app updated throughout the game. Ideally, we would like to have Live Scoring Enabled (if wi-if is available) to direct fans to the website for updates.
4. At the end of the game, the timekeeper is responsible for getting signatures from officials on the game sheet app and locking the game.
5. Home team coach/manager is responsible for making sure the game is fully uploaded (requires wifi or mobile phone connection).
Once a game is uploaded, our website and stats will update automatically and enable us to pull reports on any penalties to follow on any suspensions.
Timekeepers MUST:
• List the time in the app as the exact time from the clock so it’s consistent across the league
• Keep track of shots (this is a MUST so we can do goalie stats)
All games will be available to load under “Scheduled Games”, all players will be available in the app if they have been registered on the HCR roster.
